What are progressive lenses?

Progressive Lenses, also known as “no-line multi-focals,” correct for multiple distances without the visible, older-style segment lines normally seen in bi-focal or tri-focal lenses. From the “distance” portion of the lens to the “reading” portion of the lens, progressives offer a continuous, gradual change in prescription strength.

Progressives are usually preferred over bi-focals or tri-focals because they are the most attractive to wear and provide the most natural correction. Many people also prefer progressive lenses because the lenses allow them to avoid the “image jump” a lined bi-focal has.

We offer a variety of progressive lenses, to include thin and light lenses, impact resistant materials and transition lenses (lenses that change from light to dark).
